A respected name in global E&P circles, Arun Karle is known for his drive to bring fit-for-purpose technologies into upstream operations. After earning his master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Lamar University, Arun spent 22 years at Schlumberger in senior global roles—designing downhole tools and holding several patents. In 1992, he returned to India and founded Askara. With over 45 years of industry experience, Arun has advised 30+ international oilfield companies and continues to play a key role in shaping India’s upstream ecosystem. He is a founding board member of IADC’s South Central Asia chapter.

Rashmi Karle
The backbone of Askara’s operations, Rashmi Karle brings over three decades of experience in HR and business management within the oil & gas space. A business graduate from the University of Poona, she is known for her ability to combine precision and empathy while overseeing day-to-day functions. Rashmi’s leadership has earned her a reputation as a problem-solver and a role model for women entrepreneurs—ensuring Askara operates with discipline, humanity, and long-term focus.

Kabir Lulla
Joining Askara in 2008, Kabir leads the Business Development team with strategic insight and hands-on execution. A graduate in Hospitality & Management from the University of Southern New Hampshire, he’s built deep trust with clients across upstream operations. Kabir excels in translating business goals into project wins—leading everything from client acquisition to deal closure, and motivating his team with high standards and relentless energy.

Sangeeta Karle
With a Master’s in Science from Johns Hopkins University, Sangeeta brings analytical precision and multi-domain leadership to Askara. Her experience spans research, project management, and business strategy. Though trained in the medical field, she has become a powerhouse of technical knowledge within Askara—overseeing key verticals, guiding decisions, and ensuring no initiative moves forward without rigorous scrutiny and clarity.

Madhura Karle
An engineer by training and problem-solver by instinct, Madhura Karle holds dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from Texas A&M. She began her oilfield career in R&D at Sperry Sun (Halliburton), followed by project leadership at Shell in Houston. Today, she leads complex, multi-stakeholder projects at Askara, applying deep technical insight and operational precision to every assignment. Her work ethic and calm execution make her a go-to for flawless delivery.
